We represent the residents of the Willard Towers
The WTA is a non-profit volunteer board of your neighbors, independent from building management. We use our collective years of expertise in finance, law, security, and technology to advocate and solve problems for the residents of the Willard Towers.
Keep Your Rent Fair
We monitor rent increases, challenge unreasonable fees, and ensure management follows Montgomery County rent stabilization rules & even go to court when they don't.
Fight for You
When management tries to add new fees for pets, parking, or smart locks, we push back and ensure they follow the law. When renovations threaten tenant rights, we're at the table. You don't have to fight alone.
Connecting All the Willard Residents
Our listserv is where residents communicate, share recommendations, sell furniture, find dog walkers, and alert each other to building issues. It's also how we organize when something needs to change.
Improve Building Life
Pest control issues? Problems in community spaces? Laundry or trash room issues? We track these problems, survey residents, and press management until they're resolved.
The listserv is free for all residents because of contributions from members. Member dues fund the technology that keeps us connected — Zoom for meetings, webinars on tenant rights, and computer classes for seniors. They also cover legal counsel and court costs when we take the landlord to court on your behalf. Your contribution keeps the WTA independent and effective.
